PGDM – General

TAPMI’s two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management is designed to push students to go beyond their constraints and redraw their boundaries to achieve excellence in business. Every aspect of a student’s life in the two-year period involves decision-making – with its consequent results. This rigorous course is based on experiential learning and makes use of the case-study approach to simulate situations which the future managers might face in the real world. The program is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the world-renowned Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This course is recognised and regarded by The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to an MBA degree. NBA reaffirmed the 5 year accreditation for PGDM program at TAPMI –a quality mark given only to a few selected B-Schools in India.

Specialisations offered under this course include: PGDM, PGDM –Banking and Finance, PGDM – Human Resources and PGDM – Marketing and Sales Management.


The PGDM – Banking and Finance Services is built on a unique curriculum structure that moulds a student’s skills and knowledge in finance. The first year covers the areas in accounting, finance, economics and banking. The second offers specialized training in either banking or capital markets. This program is bench-marked to the CFA-BoK (Candidate Body of Knowledge) and FRM C-BoK.

Aided by the state-of-the-art Bloomberg Lab, this course enables students to have a managerial career in the fields of banking and financial services with leading national and multinational banks and financial institutions. Over the course of study, a student receives rigorous academic preparation, essential leadership skills through our integrated leadership program, and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through the Bloomberg terminals and field visits.

Sales roles also have become more and more technology and data driven and it’s required of sales managers that they make decisions on the basis of sophisticated tools.

The two-year PGDM-Sales Program has been fathomed to address these needs. The program aimed to start in the year 2019-2020, is aimed at producing man-power who are able and have the capacity to occupy leadership and managerial roles in the sales domain..

In today’s knowledge economy, people are the prime resources to create sustainable competitive advantage. In this regard, there is a huge demand for HRM professionals who act as business partners and transform the strategic implementation into a reality. In today’s Indian corporate arena, there is a visible premier HRM talent shortage due to very low number of leading institutes offering quality HRM education. TAPMI’s PGDM (HR) addresses this market gap.

PGDM –HR program would strive to develop “People Management” competencies of future HR professionals through courses from Behavioural Discipline (Individual, Team and Leadership Competencies), HRM Discipline (Functional and Strategic HR Competencies), and Institutional Discipline (Employee Relations and Industrial Relations Competencies).
